When well-known food critic Abby Hollingsworth (aka Hannah Jones) finds her services up on the auction block at a local food fair, she’s shocked when a bidding war breaks out between two chefs, both starting up new restaurants in town. She’s secretly pleased when the hunky Chef Wise wins, only to remember that she’s actually reviewed his food once before, when she was first starting out. And hated it.

Jeff Wise remembers the bad review Abby gave his food years ago, and now he's finally in a position to get back at the woman who he blames for the ultimate demise of his first restaurant. His plan is to blackmail her into helping him win a prestigious cooking contest, but his plan backfires when he finds himself falling in love. Things really heat up when Abby's true identity is revealed, and a long-time stalker finally catches up with her. Will Jeff get to her in time to save her, and declare his love?
