with the whole Halloween thing last week, a weekend full of writing,
housework and more writing, and chronically dry eyes that are not
cooperating with my efforts to actually use them for any length of time
due to my abusing them last week in the wind…yeah. Honestly, it would
be less strain if I were reading rather than writing, due to the e-ink
screen on the kindle and paper, of course, for the Preston & Child
book. But NaNoWriMo is in full swing, and I’ve been frantically trying
to get as many words in as possible so as not to fall any further behind
than necessary. Unfortunately, I think that strategy may need to flip
around the other way for awhile, to let my poor eyes recuperate. At this
point, even staring at the screen for the day job is pretty
excruciating for at least part of the day.
my lunch hours this week have been short, sweet, and spent chatting
with my hubby. Which isn’t a bad way to spend a lunch hour, though I
think I did get another chapter of Tatterdemon done during one of them.
any case, little to no reading, which is sad and a major bummer. Here’s
hoping my eyes recover and my schedule evens out in the next week or
