Goal Reports

Writing: Tempest is going slowly – I’m working on smoothing out transitions between scenes at the moment. More on that Tuesday. Her Private Chef is going well…I met all my “timed” goals for it last night, and while it’s moving slower than I’d like, it’s still moving, at least. Slow and steady, and all that. I talked to a graphic artist about getting some cover art going for Tempest, so I’m looking forward to seeing what she comes up with too.

Personal: I’m woefully behind on cleaning and yard work, but by tonight I should have all the plants out of the greenhouse and either planted or given away. I got two of the three novella’s on my list read, and reviews left. Some of the problems with yard work have been weather related – thank goodness it’s supposed to be nicer this week! We pulled the bathroom apart and found out there’s not nearly as much damage as we thought…but it triggered a bathroom update project for the upstairs bathroom (since we need to replace the wax seal on the toilet). I’ve decided I want to redo the office this summer too, make it more “writer-friendly”. So the list of projects grows…

Goals This Week

– 1 1/2 hrs on HPC per night
– 1/2 to 1 hr on Tempest per day

– Weeding. My least favorite part of summer.
– Laundry (there’s a reason I put this on the list every couple weeks…)
– Journal a couple times for the week
– Reading: finish Forsaken by Shadow and start on June’s Blaze novels

That’s what’s going on with me this week – what’s up in your neck of the blogosphere? Read any good books lately?

Glad to hear Tempest is moving along, even if it’s moving slowly. I really enjoyed it.

It sounds like things are at least moving forward though! You sound pretty busy!
