And man, does it feel good to work on something new/different again,

Well now. This is just chock full of angsty-goodness, isn’t it? And did
you know you actually can just “join the FBI” if you have the entry
track qualifications they as for (a broad swath) and are between the
ages of 23 and 37? I know, weird, right? But very handy in light of this
particular story.
feel better today. The brain is happy with this whole return to
drafting thing. And a happy brain is a well-behaved brain. Or something
like that…

More progress…yay! I’m nearly done with all the scenes I originally
marked up, and very nearly to the point in the story where I figured out
what the plot should be, so a few more scenes and everything should go a
little faster/easier after those are done. I’m feeling good about
getting these revisions finished next week and finally sent off to my
editor. Whew! Light at the end of the tunnel!
