 JD/romantic suspense

Words written:
  342

Total words:
 3,634
Time Spent:
 15 minutes (break)

Notes: I thought I knew where I was going with this, but turns out, now I’m not so sure. Poor Genevieve has a decision to make…well, several, actually, before this scene ends. I’m curious to see what she decides…

Writing Session 2: Jasmine Betrayal
Author/Genre:
 JD/romantic suspense

Words written:
  687

Total words:
  4,321
Time Spent:
 30 minutes (late night)

Notes: I sort of know where this is going, but getting there is another matter. I’ve also been experimenting with more description, and I’m not sure if maybe I’m overdoing it or not. Hard to say, really, since I write sparsely on my best days, so any extra description at all feels a bit “thick” for me. But we’ll see. That’s why I have an editor.

Now, because I simply can’t resist, back to the book I started reading at lunch. I’ll finish this scene tomorrow on breaks (hopefully) and then get the scene for LC done tomorrow after work. Here’s hoping, anyways…LC is supposed to be out at the end of the month. Yikes!
