Writing Session 1: MacKenzie Saves the World
Author/Genre: JD/sweet contemp. romance
Words written: 377

Total words: 12,787
Time Spent:  15 minutes (break)

Notes: Hard to get my head back in the story this morning, but I think it’s rolling again now. Gotta just write more, think less…that always works better than trying to “drive” myself. We’ll see how this afternoon goes.

Writing Session 2: MacKenzie Saves the World
Author/Genre: JD/sweet contemp. romance
Words written: 273

Total words: 13,060
Time Spent:  15 minutes (break)

Notes: Another scene finished, another unsatisfactory ending for our two star-crossed lovers, and another quandary for our intrepid would-be hero. Good drama, if I do say so myself. Later, back into MacKenzie’s head as she tries to sort it all out…

Writing Session 3: MacKenzie Saves the World
Author/Genre: JD/sweet contemp. romance
Words written: 458

Total words: 13,518
Time Spent:  30 minutes (after work)

Notes: Considering I had very little idea where this scene was going, things are moving along well, methinks. I’m starting a secondary story arc/sub-plot that could prove interesting, or could fizzle. We shall see. But now, dinner!

Writing Session 4: MacKenzie Saves the World
Author/Genre: JD/sweet contemp. romance
Words written:  201

Total words: 13,719
Time Spent:  30 minutes (late night)

Notes: I’m more tired than I thought, so I’m not going to push it. Tomorrow, the story will go on. And it’s Friday!
