Halloween Story Starters

I’m a little annoyed that I don’t have a Halloween romance or romantic suspense story written yet. Talk about sleeping on the job! There’s no time to write one for this year, but I have a few ideas floating around in my head for next year, if you’ll indulge me a bit:

– A meet cute at a pumpkin carving contest. All’s fair in love and pumpkin guts, until someone’s nuts get roasted, right?

– Corn maze rescue, but with bad guys, a “wrong place/wrong time to get lost” situation, and maybe a second chance romance in the works?

– Haunted/abandoned house is a refuge for a guy on the run, only the girl who lives there really is a witch, and he falls for her charms.

– Halloween party, two guys, both end up at her doorstep later – one a trick, and the other a treat.
