Writer’s Notes: January 30, 2014

Writing Session 1: When She Cries
Author/Genre: AW/suspense
Words written:  267
Total words:  6,854
Time Spent: 15 minutes (break)

Notes: Slow start today, but got it started, which is what matters. I really don’t think I have enough story for a full novel here, dang it, but it’ll be as long as it needs to be, I guess. I really need to work on more complex plots/storytelling. I’m not sure how I can adjust this for that sort of thing, but we’ll see, I guess.

Writing Session 2: When She Cries
Author/Genre: AW/suspense
Words written:  398
Total words:  7,252
Time Spent: 15 minutes (break)

Notes: Moving right along. Posturing, wrestling, planning, scheming. Things are going a little too easily for our heroine though, methinks. It feels like a good time to really mess things up here…next week.

Writing Session 3: Creme Brulee

Author/Genre: TM/erotic romance
Words written:  649
Total words:  13,305
Time Spent: 30 minutes (after work)

Notes: Ha! I knew if I just kept following these guys around, they’d figure out how to get back on track! I have no idea how my readers will react to it – there’s a lot more mental games in this story than normal – but hopefully they’ll hang in there with me.  I’m looking forward to finding out where this goes next (finally…and whew!).
