just need to re-write that scene from Laura’s story into Melanie’s
point of view. I think it’s safe to say that readers will be surprised
at this…I like it, though, as far as the overall arc goes.

And that’s done. Whew! Another good one, methinks, though I need to go
back to Laura’s story now and add a little detail into the
beginning…but easy enough. Next up, poor Jodi, who is woefully (but
probably happily) ignorant of all the subtext going on with her friends.

I started by fixing that spot in Laura’s draft that needed to match
Melanie’s, and then copied the section in Laura’s (because Jodi has more
time in Laura’s story than Mel’s) over to the TNL file for Halloween.
But of course Jodi’s story starts earlier than when Laura comes in, so I
got a good start on that (no idea how many words, because my word count
is messed up by copying all that verbiage I’ll have to re-write to fit
Jodi’s perspective). So far, so good…and rolling right along. If I can
finish this story this week, all the Halloween stories for the holiday
series will be done early. Woot!
