Writer’s Log: Nov. 5, 2013

Writing Session 1: MacKenzie Saves the World
Author/Genre: JD/sweet contemp. romance
Words written: 383

Total words: 5,391
Time Spent:   15 minutes (break)

Notes: Dude. Heavy conversation turns into some heavy flirtation?! Well alrighty then, characters. Carry on…although I see an interruption in your immediate future…

Writing Session 2: MacKenzie Saves the World
Author/Genre: JD/sweet contemp. romance
Words written: 185

Total words: 5,576
Time Spent:   15 minutes (break)

Notes: Not much, but it was enough to finish the scene and plan out the next one, so I’m not complaining. Apparently we’re exploring classism & sexism in MacKenzie’s world, which adds some interesting complexity all around.

Now I need to jump over to Trinity’s serial installment later, because that has to be done by Friday and I may as well just get it out of the way. Then back to this late night, with any luck. Onward!

Writing Session 3: Creme Brulee
Author/Genre: TM/erotic romance
Words written: 590

Total words: 4,723
Time Spent:   45 minutes (after work)

Notes: Whew! *fans self* I’ll take dinner with a huge glass of ice water now, please…

Writing Session 4: MacKenzie Saves the World
Author/Genre: JD/sweet contemp. romance
Words written: 195

Total words: 5,771
Time Spent:   20 minutes (late night)

Notes: I wish I could keep going, but my eyes are still sore (getting better though, maybe), and I’m falling asleep (literally). So it’s time to hit the sack….and tomorrow, I should make better progress now that my serial scenes are out of the way for the week.
