Writer’s Log: Nov. 9th & 10th, 2013

Two days in one for the weekend…since I only did one session each (which is one session more than normal for weekends around here…).

November 9th (Saturday):
Writing Session 1:
 MacKenzie Saves the World

Author/Genre: JD/sweet contemp. romance

Words written: 1,065

Total words: 8,822

Time Spent:  60 minutes (afternoon)

Notes: And another scene finished. One more, and this episode of the story will be done. I like how it’s coming along so far…decent pacing, the plot is coming together, and the relationships are moving forward as they should. I need to figure out how to work in the subplot a bit less subtly, but hopefully it will shake itself out on it’s own. I’m not very good at subplots yet…

November 10th (Sunday):

Writing Session 1: MacKenzie Saves the World

Author/Genre: JD/sweet contemp. romance

Words written: 1,023

Total words: 9,845

Time Spent:  60 minutes (late afternoon)

Notes: This episode is *almost* done…and shaping up quite nicely. Too nicely, actually. I’m wondering when it’ll start to slog, as they always do…but for now, life is good.
