Writer’s Notes: January 31, 2014

Writing Session 1: Live With Me
Author/Genre: JD/romantic suspense
Words written:  350
Total words:  350
Time Spent: 15 minutes (break)

Notes:
Ooo…smell that? Yes, that’s the sweet scent of the first words in a
brand new story going down on the digital page. I just love starting a
new draft. So much possibility just waiting for me to uncover it. And
I’ve been wanting to start this particular one for awhile now. Good
sales of Sleep With Me (the first in this trilogy) this month made me
even more anxious to get it started, so here we go! Fun stuff…

Writing Session 2: Live With Me
Author/Genre: JD/romantic suspense
Words written:  608
Total words:  958
Time Spent: 15 minutes (break)

Notes:
Okay, so I got a little carried away with this session, but man, when
it starts writing itself this early, you know it’s going to be a good
ride…

Writing Session 3: Donteneoux’s Dragon
Author/Genre: JDC/dystopian sci-fi
Words written:  258
Total words:  2258
Time Spent: 30 minutes (after work)

Notes:
Not a lot, but I had to go back and re-read, and then find the right
voice again, so it’s all good. This was mostly good description…next
week’s going to get really hairy…

  1. I am excited to see news on both of these stories. I have been waiting patiently for the Dragon story knowing you’d get back to it eventually. I am loving, loving, loving what you are up to right now. 😀
